Pamela Skehan is a New Orleans-based artist and educator.  A strong advocate of art as a form of education and social activism, much of her work focuses on these themes.  She earned a BFA in painting, drawing, and ceramics from Ohio Wesleyan University.  Upon graduating she moved to Japan where she taught English and art for two years at a kindergarten and several community centers.  While in Japan she studied Japanese calligraphy under the internationally-known artist Waen Horata.  She moved to New Orleans in 2011 to continue her career in art education.  For information regarding pricing and commission work, please contact her at the information below.
